Level 3 – First Aid at Work

Our 3-day course Level 3 First Aid at Work.
This course is nationally recognised and meets all the requirements outlined by the awarding body, the course also teaches real lifesaving skills that can be used in and out of the workplace.

Anyone who has basic First Aid training that would like to enhance their skills, which covers the major life-threatening scenarios.

A strong confidence in dealing with situations such as, unconscious, non-breathing, bleeding, ill or wounded while waiting for the attendance of medically qualified professionals.

  • How to deal with Strokes, Asthma, Anaphylaxis, Spinal Injury and Diabetes.

What's involved during the course?

The training focuses on a set of core emergency lifesaving skills, that can be applied across any environment. On each day there will be tutorial and practical assessments, your trainer will demonstrate each area and then you will be hands on demonstrating your understanding, on the final day you will also have a written assessment. Candidates will learn about their responsibilities as a first aider. What to do when at the scene, what information to give to the emergency services and how to report after an accident.

What will I get out of the training?

The First Aid at Work Course provides you with a certificate at the end of your training, to gain this qualification you need to meet the required level for each of the practical and written assessments. This certificate is valid for three years and meets government guidelines. On completion you will have the confidence to deal with an accident or sudden illness, whether it be at work, home or at leisure.

Course Duration?

The course lasts 3 full days and can be started at any time suitable to your needs, this includes weekends as well. The days can be split if you require. The course must be completed within 1 month of course start date.   A blended course option is available on this course, please enquire for more information.

The Level 3 First Aid at Work course held at your own premises. Please note we do not recommend training in groups larger than 12 people. We cover the whole of the Home Counties.
