What's involved during the course?
The training day focuses on a set of core emergency lifesaving skills, that can be applied across any environment.
On the day there are four practical assessments with one written assessment, your trainer will demonstrate these with hands on practical sessions.
Candidates will also learn about their responsibilities as a first aider. What to do when at the scene, what information to give to the emergency services and how to report after an accident.
What will I get out of the training?
The Emergency First Aid at Work Course provides you with a certificate at the end of your training, to gain this qualification you need to meet the required level for each of the practical and written assessments.
The certificate you gain is valid for three years and meets government guidelines.
On completion you will have the confidence to deal with an accident or sudden illness, whether it be at work, home or at leisure.

The course starts at 9am and concludes around 4pm
